Description
This Fort Niagara still stands as a historic landmark that has been continuously used by the military even to modern times, holding the distinction as possibly being the oldest continuously occupied military site in North America. A large two-story stone building was built in the early 1700s by the occupying French which resembled a French "castle", which is seen in the background behind the various military militia. Old Fort Niagara becomes a very popular spot of reenactments like these during the summer months.

Glad you enjoyed it! They had just opened after restrictions were lifted, but closed soon after, so glad you made it in time! Hoping you saw the huge flag!!
