After an amazing 25 space missions over 22 yearsr, shuttle Endeavour was flown throughout the USA one final time in a grand farewell tour that excited millions throughout the United States! At the time of its announcement, I was one of thousands in the San Francisco Bay Area who vowed to be "there" to see a shuttle finally! Her approach to San Francisco was delayed by fog BUT, there she was in all her Glory and Beauty, and LOUD too! I was so excited, being about 75 feet higher than area news agency vans parked lower than where I stood!! Really!!
I have a smartphone video of this grand event, and you can hear us talking as she approaches, then the whine of the SCA engines!
