Description
I just found this among a lot of papers which I have been going through the last few days. This is a hand-developed original hand-developed and printed using my personal darkroom in 1970s, in Acros de la Frontera where every Spring, they sponsor an very popular event of the "Running of the Bulls", consisting of one bull in the "morning" and another in the afternoon. The street used is blocked off and as you can see, people are literally hanging from the iron bars of the windows along this street, and this guy is practically FLYING - both feet are off the ground - as he tries to get away from the bull. I am about 17ft away as I am snapping this, and of course I am moving in closer or farther as the situation changes. I did this for three years before I turned my camera to other subjects. A lot of my personal belongings were lost in North Carolina when Zach Kunkle of the Hickory-Lenoir-Morganton-Marion Area of North Carolina just abandoned my things (including my darkroom enlarger and equipment) in an old shed in the back of a house. So I may not have this negative anymore... I'll never know since I have my things scattered between three international locations. This print is original, hand developed and printed, and I just laid this print on a table and snapped it with my phone just so I can share this memory of my past. I have NO scanner so I cannot even scan the image, so this is categorized as smartphone image as a smartphone was used to record this. Enjoy the memory from the mid-70s!!
