It is often stated on a clear day you can see forever, and in this archive image taken across the bay from my hometown San Francisco, it's true: you really can see forever! In this image, I can see Coit Tower, both the Transamerica Pyramid and the black square of the Bank of America building. I can see the Fairmont Hotel of Nob Hill and a few others.
