The grand old USS Iowa (BB-61) departs San Francisco on a sad weekend in May of 2012. After years of being in the mothball fleet, Iowa is towed to her new home in southern California. Thousands crowded the waterfront and hills to see her departure. You never know what you have till it's gone!
